Well, I have returned to the land of Broadband. That is semi-decent speed broadband. My new employer has requested that wireless internet be available in her home. I have signed up with the local cable company utilizing CableLynx internet (a sub of Waco Cable, I believe). The speeds are roughly that of a 16Mbps connection, however the wireless leaves some to be desired. I have not yet begun really getting into the computer issues at the moment as have other obligations to fulfill.
I have assembled and attached a 3' porch and 8' wheelchair ramp recently, and it was a chore. In a few weeks, I hope to be able to replace the ramp with a slightly longer one, as it is still rather steep.
I know that I stated that I was going to use this blog as an online pulpit/soapbox, and I probably will to some degree. For now I am going to just use it as an online journal of sorts.

A New Place to Start
A few weeks ago, or maybe longer; an acquaintance of mine told me 'you need to be heard'. Well due to economic and other modern day standards I am far from the pulpit, and even further from the political soapbox. So, I have decided to attempt an online version (or versions) of my own personal soapbox. Since, I am still new to the blogging scene and writing my own thoughts, this will be an interesting journey.
