Do you like cats? Do you know someone that does? Know anyone that wants a kitten in the Searcy, Arkansas area, we are in Judsonia. It seem that somewhere in our neighborhood there are a few strays that are attempting to flood the area in kittens. In November of 2009, we found two young kittens in the flooring/air vent in our kitchen. We located one of them a home, and the other didn't make it unfortunately. Again earlier this year, May, I believe it was, I pulled another 7 kittens from the vent right before a flood. We kept two of those to add to our already 4 cats; bring the total to 6.
A few weeks later a went outside one night and there was a black spot on my grey path, low and behold there laid a small solid black kitten. His name is Midnight. Okay so now that brings the total to seven cats that reside inside our home. Along side the cats we also have 4 canine friends as well.
There has been a local stray male that has been here since we moved in. He's friendly and I can not let an animal go hungry so he resides in our garage. In the last few days there has been a triple addition to the outside population.
If anyone in the Judsonia/Bald Knob area are in want of a very friendly kitten, there are a total of 3 males and one female currently looking for new families. One of our inside cats is also currently expecting, so barring no unforeseen complications we will have more kittens available in 8 to 10 weeks. Please comment with a way to contact you, and please only local folks. Searcy , Bald Knob and surrounding areas are more than welcome. Shipping is out of the question.
Peace

Arkansas Heat
Poor Patty in the back, at least it was still cooler than the Cobalt would have been. We are going to be taking them both to Lynn's Garage in Searcy to get the A/C checked out. I might take 'Essie" back and have them do a complete checkup and see what's causing the surging (or power drop?) while going a steady speed. She needs a bit of fine tuning and minor upgrades, but she seem's to be a decent little car.
We are taking Nanny in to the Medical Center to see an Eval Nurse, so that we can get her into physical therapy so she can start using her prosthesis and be able to have a lot more mobility. I know the heat in the house is probably affecting her overall demeanor, it's not helping anyone else's either. Having Nanny in therapy will be good for her, and it will help her build her muscles so that she can walk again. Plus the few weeks in decent air conditioning probably wouldn't hurt/

Chrome Issues
In an effort to make things a bit simpler for myself I have installed Zemanta for Chrome, and yesterday evening it was working correctly. I have however rebooted my PC since, and voila, no Zemanta upon loading up this morning.
Due to this, the current post will be pretty bear in comparison to what I am attempting to achieve.
On to bigger and better things. The home health nurse came today to check on Kimberly's progressing pregnancy. She is a little concerned with her blood pressure, and the gestational diabetes that was recently diagnosed. Her and Andrew are getting ready to head to White County Medical Center to speak with a dietitian.
I am still concerned with Nanny's sugar levels. I am considering discussing an insulin pump with her Doctor. We are still waiting to hear from the Social Worker at the Medical Center concerning her Physical Therapy, never-mind that, she has just returned our call. Kimberly is discussing our concerns and issues with her now.
Enough for now. Peace
